more information on the magazine

Well guys thanks for all the support and ideas. Since you guys are up for it let’s talk about it more. Ok here is my idea.

This is an online magazine. This will be available for download in “PDF” format. The reason for this is if we publish these articles monthly on a webpage it won’t be a magazine. It would be ultimately a website that is being updated once per month yeah? This won’t be congested with blog posts that we have already read although we can have a column of best 5-10 blog posts per month. It should have original content. This is an independent magazine and is totally non-profit. This is from the Maldivian bloggers to the Maldivian people. The idea of the magazine is to show our ideas and thoughts about what is happening around us, a way for our voices are to be heard so to speak.

The whole idea around this magazine is ‘independence’. You’re welcome to submit whatever article you like unless it’s offensive in nature. You’re welcome to design the page for the article you are submitting. It will ultimately have your flavor to it, creating a sense of individualism to each page. The compilation of all the pages would show the creativity of an ‘Independent Nation’.

This is the whole idea behind this magazine and if you like this idea I’ll start work on it organizing the whole thing.
